War For Truth Ministries was officially founded in August 2022 by Thomas W. Pohl. It's calling is to fight for truth in a world of lies and deceptions. In today's modern world, Satan and his demonic underlings, as well as their human allies, are waging a war on truth in the earth.
God would go on to call Tom to be an author 2021 while he was still working on his first book "Deliverance from Addiction: Breaking the Yoke & Healing the Hurt" which was published in December 2024. He has several Books currently in the pipeline, both faith-based and non-faith based. Tom's non-faith based books can be found on his company's website Orange Knight Media.
The Case Against was once a separate outreach that was started over 10 years ago and didn't amount to anything at the time. However, in early 2020, God told Tom to "dust it off" and get it on track.
Tom's prophetic gifting started manifesting in November 2020, right around the 2020 U.S. Presidential Election, and his Prophetic Words have dealt mostly with the political realm since then.
DELIVERANCE FROM ADDICTION OUTREACH
In January 2019, God dropped Tom's first book on his heart. This book, which is entitled, "Deliverance from Addiction: Breaking the Yoke & Healing the Hurt", came as a result of a personal plea by him that God not let the death of a dear friend, who had died of a drug overdose four months earlier, be in vain and that God would turn it around for good. This book would be the first step in the journey toward the Deliverance From Addiction Outreach.
In 2024, God revealed to Tom that his new calling in this season was to minister to drug addicts and those that love them. He had been ministering to drug addicts, mostly on a one-to-one basis, since 2015., and those lessons were incorporated into his book and in the future expansion of his calling. In addition to his book, the calling expanded to include YouTube and TikTok content creation and in the future, the establishment of an addiction outreach center. The Deliverance From Addiction Outreach was officially established in November 2024.
THOMAS W. POHL
Thomas W. Pohl is a lifelong resident of Middlesex, NJ. He is single, never been married and has no children. Tom is a veteran of the United States Navy. He has had a keen interest in politics dating back to high school which he believes has played a part in his prophetic ministry, which deals mostly with the political realm. Tom spent 25 years in the drum & bugle corps activity, both as a performer and an instructor. He has won three world championships during his time in this activity, two as a performer and one as an instructor.
Tom graduated from Middlesex High School (Middlesex, NJ) in 1985. Tom attended Middlesex County College (Edison, NJ) for 3 years (1995-1997) as a Music Education major. However, life interrupted his education before he could complete this education track. Tom would later graduate from Katharine Gibbs School (Piscataway, NJ) with a Corporate Assistant Certificate in 1999. He would also go on to graduate from The Cittone Institute (Edison, NJ) with a Computer Programming with Web Design certificate in 2003. In 2005, Tom started his web design business, Cybervision Web, which specializes in designing websites for small businesses and non-profits. Cybervision Web was brought under the umbrella of Tom's new company, Orange Knight Media, in 2023. Tom is currently a part-time student at XIXI Now Success Academy Worldwide (Montgomery, AL) where he is a member of the school's Gideon 300.
Tom was raised Roman Catholic by his parents but he grew disillusioned with it by the time he was 16 years old (1983). Shortly thereafter, his parents relented in trying to force him to go to church. Tom considered himself to be Agonistic after that. In early 1992, he began his faith journey. After a few missteps along the way, Tom gave his life to Jesus in October 1992. He spent most of his Christian walk since then under two ministries. The first is Faith Fellowship Ministries World Outreach Center [now Epic Church International] (Sayreville, NJ) under the leadership of its founder, Pastor David T. Demola. The second is W.O.W Gospel Ministries International (Suffolk, VA) under the leadership of its founder, Bishop Dr. Perry L. Austin.
